Origin

Viticulture: The grapes of this vintage come from vines cultivated using modern vineyard management techniques and harmonizing treatments with respect for the environment.

Characteristics of the vintage: The 2013 harvest has been somewhat strange. In terms of climate, we start from a mild autumn with a lot of precipitation, followed by a cold winter. Spring is also cold with abundant rainfall. These conditions delayed sprouting between 7 and 10 days compared to other milder years. Summer also complicated the situation, being somewhat mild at the beginning and hot at the end. The lack of heat in the plant delayed the harvest of the red varieties between 15 and 20 days compared to last year. Thanks to a good month of September and almost the entire month of October, the majority of plants recovered well and reached a good degree of maturation.

Appearance: Sharp and bright. Intense dark red with garnet reflections.

Nose: Frank and intense aroma. Very fruity, red and black fruit type. Light spicy and toasted touches.

Mouth: Lively, with soft tannins, very pleasant on the palate. Notes of fruits from the undergrowth stand out. Soft toasted touches that harmonize perfectly with the red fruit. Medium body, persistent and with a pleasant finish.
