Where can you travel with Enrique Tomás ham?

Christmas is a time for visiting family, sharing, and celebrating, and often that involves traveling. You might be visiting relatives, or on the contrary, flying abroad to celebrate the holidays with our loved ones. In any case, it's a great opportunity to bring a gift in your suitcase, and what better than Enrique Tomás ham.

This is when doubts arise: Can I travel with ham in my luggage? Can I carry ham as carry-on baggage? Can I bring ham to the United States? And it's a very good question.

If we're traveling to a European Union country

Within the European Union, all food products must undergo equivalent checks. Therefore, if your flight is from one EU country to another, your Enrique Tomás ham (or chorizo, loin, etc.) can travel without any issues, both in checked baggage and as carry-on luggage.

Traveling to destinations outside the European Union

If you're traveling outside the European Union, each country has different regulations. It's best to check in advance on the embassy's website of the country you're traveling to with your ham, as it might be allowed with some restrictions or might not be allowed at all.

Below is the list of countries where Enrique Tomás ham is welcome, whether you're carrying it in your baggage or prefer to buy it from our online store and have it shipped to you:
