  • 200 g Broccoli
  • 300 ml Egg whites
  • A bunch of Jamón Ibérico shavings
  • 50 ml liquid cream
  • ½ Tablespoon of ground turmeric
  • A touch of ground black pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt


1. Beat the egg whites with the milk or cream and all the spices to taste, in our case, we have chosen turmeric and a touch of black pepper and salt.

Cut the broccoli into small florets and steam it briefly for about 5 minutes to make it tender but without losing firmness. Then drain it and sauté it in a pan with a little virgin olive oil to give it a crunchy touch.

Add your mixture of egg whites, cream, and spices to the pan and stir to mix evenly.

Finally, add the jamón shavings. Lower the heat and cover the pan to cook for just a few minutes. When the edges are firm, turn the omelet over with the help of the lid or a plate that fits the size of the omelet.

*Keep in mind that depending on how well done you like it (more or less done, you will have to wait a few minutes more or less).

After a couple of minutes more, turn it again and that's it!, just serve and enjoy!
