Endive leaves with Iberian ham
Endive leaves with Jamón/ham are a light and very appetizing dish when the good weather starts. They can be prepared with a wide variety of ingredients and the result is always delicious.
INGREDIENTS
FOR 2 PEOPLE
TOTAL TIME: 15 min
- 1 Endive (8-10 leaves approximately)
- 1 pear
- Iberian ham shavings
- of mixed nuts and dried fruit
- of mozzarella cheese
- Fresh chives
- Olive oil, salt and balsamic vinegar
PREPARATION
1. Prepare all your ingredients: endive leaves, chives, mozzarella cheese, pear, nuts and ham shavings.
2. Separate the endive leaves and place them in a work space and then add the ingredients on top.
Ideally, prepare 4-5 leaves per head.
3. Cut the pear and mozzarella cheese into small cubes.
4. Add the ingredients evenly to each of the leaves. First the pear and cheese mixture, then the ham shavings and a handful of nuts. To finish, chop some fresh chives and add them along with a touch of olive oil, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar.
Be careful with the salt, remember that the ham shavings already give it an intense and salty flavor!
If you don't have ham shavings, you can cut the ham slices into small pieces.
Enjoy!
