100% Acorn-Fed Ham

For a ham to be considered 100% Iberian acorn-fed, it must have 100% genetic purity of the Iberian breed, meaning its parents must also be 100% pure Iberian, and it must have completed its final fattening phase free-range during the montanera.

On the Iberian Peninsula we find a very special breed of pigs: the Iberian breed. This type of pig, unique in its kind, has countless characteristics that set it apart from other pigs, but one is fundamental: it infiltrates fat into the muscle. This characteristic is what gives Iberian ham those white marbling veins that make it a unique product.
