DESCRIPTION
Characteristics:
Elaboration:
The rains that occurred at the beginning of September, before the harvest, achieved excellent maturation that provided us with musts with a good level of sugar and mild acidity.
The Albariño is harvested early between September 19 and 23 and the Caíño is the last variety to be harvested, between September 29 and October 3, being the latest. El Loureiro from September 26 to 28.
Vineyard:
The Albariño and Caíño strains are planted in low-altitude plots that are more humid and warm , which means that the harvest is earlier. They give more concentrated wines, less acidic and with more body. The strains of loureiro are found in higher altitude vineyards, with less humidity, fresher , where maturation is slower and the wines are softer and with more intense aromas.
Pairing:
Wonderful combination with seafood: oysters, clams and crab. It also goes well with Asian cuisine or with white meats or rice.
