The group Perelada It inaugurates its new winery built in the same town of Perelada (Girona) in 2022. A masterful work designed by the prestigious architecture studio RCR (winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2017, the Nobel Prize in Architecture). It is an old converted farm that has maintained its initial structure, but integrating it into the space and giving it a strong personality.

The grapes come from a single estate, the Malaveïna Estate , located in the town of Garriguella, in Alt Empordà. There are 19 hectares of slopes that overlook the Mediterranean Sea, with red clay soils and pebbles. It has a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and hot summers, softened by the proximity of the sea and with a great influence of the Tramuntana, a strong north wind that can reach gusts of up to 120 km/h.

The harvest is carried out manually, making a selection in the vineyard itself. Each of the varieties is vinified separately. A long maceration of the grapes is carried out before fermentation, which occurs at a controlled temperature of 25ºC.
