DESCRIPTION
Characteristics
Harvest: Manual harvest and transfer to the winery in small boxes and trailers.
Vinification: Maceration and fermentation take place in concrete tanks while malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels as well as aging which takes place for 14 months also in French oak barrels.
Varieties: 100% Tinta de Toro.
Vineyard: Selection of vineyards up to 90 years old with limited production, settled on sandy soils with a high granite stony component and cultivated naturally.
Preparation: Maceration for 14 days. Spontaneous fermentation in 15,000 kg concrete tanks with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation takes place in these same tanks. Wine with gentle filtering and non-aggressive clarification, to preserve its natural characteristics.
Aging: 12 months in second-use French and Eastern oak barrels. Degree: 14.5% Vol

Tasting Note
Visual:
Ruby red color.
Nose:
Tertiary aromas from the barrel, with notes of vanilla, pastries, cocoa and coconut. At the same time, it maintains freshness with a predominance of fruit notes, especially red fruits and strawberry tones.
Mouth :
Very balanced, and full of complexity. Friendly entry and very good tannic structure, with silky and velvety tannins, combined with a very good acidity that gives it length
Pairing:
With red meat, small game, roasts, rice and cheese.
