Mestres Winery:
The Mestres family is documented in San Sadurni D'anoia before 1312 as owners of vineyards, as well as grain and wine merchants for 28 generations.
It was exactly in 1925 when Josep Mestres Manobés decided to make his first bottle of white wine with second fermentation, thus appearing the first bottle of cava from Bodegas Mestres. From here the family specialized in making cavas using the traditional method with cork stoppers.
They have always worked both because of their extremely high quality and because of their continuous innovation.

Aging: aging for 5 months in barrels and 50 months in barrels.
Grape variety: 35% Maccabeo, 40% Xarelo and 25% Parellada.
Graduation: 12%.

Golden yellow color with a straw rim with fine, small and very well integrated bubbles.
Nose:
Complex aromas are appreciated, certain pastry aromas, toasted wood and certain aniseed touches.
Taste:
Lively acidity, fresh and round entry with saline hints, pleasant, long and persistent finish.
Pairing:
With red tuna, sushi and smoked meats.
