How to choose the right Christmas hamper (quick guide)

  • 1. Consider Your Budget

We offer hampers in various sizes and price points, ranging from small culinary treats to comprehensive gift sets. First define how much you wish to invest, then pick the combination that fits best.

  • 2. Think About the Recipient

We don't all enjoy the same things. For a true ham lover, a hamper centered around a premium piece is ideal. If you want something to share, a varied selection featuring ham, cheeses, wines, and gourmet delicacies offers a more complete option.

  • 3. Choose According to Their Tastes

Do they prefer mild or intense flavors? Are they more into ham, cheese, or wine? Choosing by flavor profiles will help you hit the mark without needing deep knowledge of every category or appellation.

  • 4. Keep Delivery Timing in Mind

During the holiday season, timing is everything. Check our available delivery estimates and place your order in advance to ensure your hamper arrives right when you need it.

Frequently asked questions about Christmas hampers with jamón

What's the last order date for delivery before Christmas?

We recommend placing your order early.
Delivery times may vary depending on the date, destination, and high order volumes typical of the holiday season. Please check shipping terms at checkout and order ahead of time to guarantee on-time delivery.
What types of jamón are there, and what's usually in a Christmas hamper?

It depends on the hamper you choose. Options feature 100% Acorn-Fed Ibérico Ham, Acorn-Fed Ibérico Ham, Cebo de Campo Ibérico Ham, Cebo Ibérico Ham, or Gran Reserva Ham. Additionally, select hampers complement the ham with shoulder, cured meats, cheeses, wines, and other gourmet specialties.
Can I personalise my Christmas hamper?

Yes. If you want a completely tailored selection, you can use our custom hamper builder to handpick every product. This is a wonderful option when you know the recipient's personal tastes well.
How do I choose the best Christmas hamper for my budget?

Start by setting your budget, then consider the recipient's preferences. If they are passionate about ham, opt for a set focused on a standout piece. If you prefer a versatile gift for sharing, a hamper with ham, cheeses, wines, and gourmet items is a great choice.
How do I store a whole jamón once I've started carving it?

Once started, the ham leg should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light. After every carving session, cover the exposed meat with the leg's own fat slices or a clean cotton cloth. Avoid wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap, as the ham needs to breathe. To enjoy it at its absolute best, carve fresh slices only as you consume it.
